We follow an empowerment model of care

We know that when you take charge of your own health, it comes with enormous LONG TERM benefits that help you to create a sustainable lifestyle that builds on your wellbeing over time. 

The empowerment model is extremely rewarding within all areas of life.  Of course, being self-responsible can also present challenges.  That's why we are intent on the philosophy of 'teach a man to fish and he eats for a lifetime', AND why, when we teach you how to fish, we are also here to guide you and mentor you through your change process after you've completed your kickstart program.  

We want to make sure we can help you, and that you feel comfortable working with us before we start your program.  That's why your first consultation with us is FREE.  We meet over a cuppa for half before anything else happens and get to know each other.

Then if we are a good fit, we continue on to your comprehensive kickstart program which includes:

• training in core methods of self-management so that you are capable of helping yourself after your session.
• expert care-planning by a Registered Nurse for your daily life to help you integrate your learning and get the most from your treatment session after you leave our premises.
• Recommendations for dietary and lifestyle changes that will support your overall health sustainability.
• Recommendations for enhancing your treatment so that you don't need treatment as much over time.
• Email and text support with our nurse for any questions or care-plan 'tweaks' that may be needed to optimise your results.
• All self-management documentation such as audio training, pdf's, workbooks, action plan templates so that you have the tools to use forever in the comfort of your own home.
• Referrals and/or reports for your treating physician upon request (additional fee).

Everyone has access

Both the 'Kickstart Your Life' and 'Kickstart your Health' programs are friendly for people with chronic conditions.  We can arrange a video-conferencing appointment if you can't attend in person.  The program is facilitated by our multi-qualified founder, Kristy Rackham, RN, so you can feel confident that your particular health circumstances will be taken into account.
