Let me say it plainly upfront: Unless you're growing your own food on the top of a pristine Andean pinnacle or a thriving virgin delta somewhere, you’re unlikely to get enough vitamins and minerals to keep your body and mind operating properly.
Without scaring your pants off (or perhaps that’s what it will take?!) most Australians are eating more fast and processed foods than ever. This stuff creates a kind of ‘nutrient starvation’ in our body which can lead to a cascade of serious health problems over time. The most important thing to remember is that all bodies are DIFFERENT!! Learn to LISTEN to your body’s unique wisdom. Be mindful when you eat of its reactions to the foods you eat and choose accordingly. It will tell you what it doesn’t like!
